The Next Gen ATP Finals are set to commence from December 17-21 with eight of the brightest talents in the sport set to lock horns in Jeddah for glory, and it is available to watch around the world.
The event is for ATP touted talents who are aged 20 or under. Similar to the ATP Finals, players qualify by their yearly points sum. They will be split into two groups - Red and Blue, and will face each opposition once with the top two destined for a spot in the semi-finals.
Despite the absence of reigning champion Joao Fonseca and Jakub Mensik, there is a string field ready to battle it out in Jeddah. This is led by American Learner Tien. The world number 28 has made two finals on the ATP Tour this year, losing to Jannik Sinner in the China open before narrowly pipping Cameron Norrie in the Moselle Open. Both came at the end of the year, with him raring to go as he looks to go one step further from last year after losing out to Fonseca in the final 3-1.
He earned almost 1000 points more than the second highest ranked player, Alexander Blockx. The Belgian has had a steady 2025, climbing the rankings to just outside the top 100. He and Croatian Dino Prizmic share the exact same birthday of November 27 2005. The 20-year-old will look to continue his consistency and showcase more of his talent to the world stage.
Spain are well-represented in this competition. World number 135 Martin Landaluc and world number 167 Rafael Jodar both sit in the same group and will be raring to go. It could be a tasty end to the group with the clashing in their final match. The second American to take the stage is Nishesh Basavareddy. He is now coached by Gilles Cervara, Daniil Medvedev's former coach, who looks to take the young talent to glory. Norwegian Nicolai Budkov Kjær will join Tien and the Spaniards in the Blue group with the youngest competitor on show, Justin Engel born in 2007, will look to stamp his authority on already a young crop of players.

How and where to watch

As usual in the UK the place to go is Sky Sports. For residents of the USA, Tien and Basavareddy's progress can be followed on the Tennis Channel while people from Australia can keep up to date with the events from the Next Gen Finals on beIN SPORTS Australia.
Spain can cheer on their two competitors through Telefónica / Movistar with events broadcasted on Sky Deutschland for Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Sky Italia will broadcast in Italy with TSN the place to go for Canada. Belgium and Croatian fans can follow the action on BeTV and Sportklub respectively.
