Paula Badosa a abandonné. Début de sa conférence de presse : "Bravo pour votre victoire."
In what has become common place during this year's Wimbledon, there was another press conference gaffe as Paula Badosa was asked questions as if she won.
This was despite her retiring from her match against Marta Kostyuk with injury while 2-6, 0-1 down to the Ukrainian.
It has not only happened to Badosa, but also her opponent in Kostyuk where a reporter confused her with another player with pictures of her travelling abroad.
As well as that, Victoria Azarenka was confused as being Russian despite being Belarusian during her opening round press conference.
It was an interesting few hours for the Spaniard who also withdrew from the mixed doubles with boyfriend, Stefanos Tsitsipas after her retirement from the Women's Singles.
Here is the full transcript of the exchange between the reporter and Badosa with the moderator having to step in to reiterate that she didn't win.
Reporter: Congrats for your win.
- Paula Badosa: I lost.
- Reporter: Could you please tell us about your fitness and confidence level?
- Badosa: I just lost. I didn't win.
- Moderator: She didn't win.
- Reporter: Not win?
- Badosa: No.
