Naomi Osaka’s major return to her former management agency. We also take a look at the training blocks of Corentin Moutet and Stefanos Tsitsipas as they prepare for the Australian summer.
"My sister's keeper": Serena shares heartfelt message after Venus Williams ties the knot
The 23-time Grand Slam champion
Serena Williams shared photos from her sister Venus's wedding, leaving a heartfelt reflection on her relationship with her older sister. The former World No. 1 shared her joy over Venus’s marriage to Italian Andrea Preti in Florida this past weekend.
“My sister’s keeper. Venus, where do I even begin? From the backyard courts to the biggest stages in the world, you’ve always led with grace, strength, and a heart bigger than any trophy. Watching you step into this next chapter surrounded by love felt like watching the sun rise…steady, powerful, and full of promise.”
“You’ve been my built-in best friend, my protector, my teacher, and my reminder to always walk in purpose. Seeing you this happy, this loved, this radiant… it means everything to me,” the former world No. 1 added. “To love, to partnership, to laughter, and to a lifetime of choosing each other every single day. I couldn’t be prouder to stand beside you, not just today, but always.”
Potapova hits the courts in Australia ahead of debut under Austrian Flag
Anastasia Potapova shared a video from her preseason training in Australia as she prepares for the start of 2026. The World No. 50 is already in Oceania for the Australian swing, which will begin in her case at the Brisbane International—a tournament where up to seven top-10 players will attend, led by Aryna Sabalenka, and which will be Potapova's first time competing under the Austrian flag.
The Russian-born player recently made headlines for her change of nationality, which positions her as the Austrian No. 1 and adds to a list of Russian players who have recently changed their citizenship, such as Daria Kasatkina, Maria Timofeeva, and Kamila Rakhimova. Potapova will play the main draw of the Australian Open for the 8th consecutive year and will seek to surpass her personal best of the third round back in 2021, when she was eliminated by 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams.
Osaka’s summer vibes
The 4-time Grand Slam champion shared photos from her summer days a few weeks ago, where she was on a boat trip with doubles World No. 2 Taylor Townsend, while they enjoyed some sun and beach days during the off-season. Townsend herself responded to Osaka's post with her swimsuit photos, saying: “Honestly… I’m checking the calendar as we speak.. 😂❤️🔥” – perhaps already thinking about a new vacation together.
The former World No. 1 recently announced she will part ways with Evolve, the sports agency she co-founded with agent Stuart Duguid in 2022, which boasts a high-profile client list: Nick Kyrgios, Aryna Sabalenka, Ons Jabeur, Iva Jovic, Eva Lys, and Anna Kalinskaya. The Japanese star will return to IMG—the company that represented her before she founded Evolve.
Moutet’s Dubai downtime before 2026 launch
Corentin Moutet enjoyed his days in Dubai while beginning to prepare his off-season for 2026. The Frenchman had a great year, managing to rise significantly in the rankings from World No. 91 to No. 35 by the end of the year. The 26-year-old reached the finals of two ATP 250s—Mallorca and Almaty—and the semifinals in the DC Open and Hangzhou, in addition to his first two wins against top-10 players and his breakthrough into the Round of 16 at the Rome Open. Moutet will start the year with visits to the Brisbane International and Adelaide International before landing in Melbourne for the Australian Open.
Tsitsipas resets in Greece for United Cup
Stefanos Tsitsipas is another player already experiencing his preseason, working from Greece in search of recovering positions at the start of 2026. The Greek was one of those who lost prominence in 2025, falling in the rankings from No. 8 around April of this year until ending the season as World No. 34—his lowest ranking in more than 7 years. Tsitsipas will have the chance to play this 2026 with less pressure, without the obligation to defend large amounts of points.
His first tournament will be the United Cup, where he will join former World No. 3 Maria Sakkari—another player who will seek to improve her results and ranking position in 2026. The Greek duo will join Group E in Perth, where they will face Naomi Osaka and Shintaro Mochizuki's Japan, and Great Britain, led by Emma Raducanu and Jack Draper.
Nadal back in Spain after "intense" days at Next Gen ATP Finals
Rafael Nadal shared photos of his return to Spain after spending time at the Next Gen ATP Finals in Jeddah, where he closely followed the progress of his compatriots Rafael Jódar and Martín Landaluce—both of whom were eliminated in the round-robin stage. The 22-time Grand Slam champion spent the week in Jeddah as a tennis ambassador for Saudi Arabia, but quickly traveled back to Spain to take charge of the Rafa Nadal Academy, sharing photos upon his arrival in Mallorca.
“Back in Spain after a few intense days in Jeddah enjoying the @atpnextgenfinals, along with many sessions and great conversations with young players, coaches and academies from @sauditennis. Now it’s time to enjoy a few days with my family in Mallorca. Wish you all the same! ☺️”
