Tennis couple Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa have shared pictures of their adventures exploring New York ahead of the US Open on the Instagram story for their joint page @tsitsidosa.
On their day off as they prepare for the last Grand Slam of the year, the couple took the famous New York subway and explored famous sights such as the World Trade Center.
The couple shared the photos on @tsitsidosa, a page they created to post about and document their relationship.
The couple started dating back in May, and have since traveled to many tournaments together as active players on the ATP and WTA Tours, as well as from non-tennis-related holidays that the pair have taken together.
Recently, they posted pictures from Monte-Carlo and Dubai, jokingly captioning one post from the latter location:
"0 Grand Slams in one photo, but hey, love conquers all!"
Nevertheless, both players have had a large amount of success in the sport. Tsitsipas is currently ranked at No. 7 and has made the finals of both the 2021 Roland Garros and the 2023 Australian Open.
Meanwhile, Badosa has been ranked as high as world No. 2, and reached the French Open quarter-finals in 2021. Recently she was forced to withdraw from several tournaments due to a spinal stress fracture she sustained at the Rome Open earlier this year.
Tsitsipas will enter the US Open as the seventh seed and will be hoping for a deep run in order to move back towards the top 5 after he fell three places from No. 4 when the ATP Rankings were updated on Monday, August 22.
Meanwhile, Badosa will be wanting to return to the top 30 and beyond after her injury woes caused her to drop out of the top 25 earlier in the season.
