BREAKING: Stefanos Tsitsipas & Paula Badosa are playing mixed doubles together at Wimbledon Couple goals. 🥹
Couple Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa form a doubles team and are set to play as a pair at Wimbledon.
Tsitsipas and Badosa are set to bring their real-life partnership into their professional careers, as they prepare to play in the mixed doubles at this year's SW19 tournament.
They are also playing in men's and women's singles respectively, with fifth seed Tsitsipas currently waiting to finish his match against Austria's Dominic Thiem after it was suspended yesterday due to rain. The Greek will have to fight his way back after Thiem won the first set 6-3.
Meanwhile, Badosa is set to face Alison Riske-Amritraj in her first round match.
Tsitsipas, from Greece, and Badosa, from Spain, confirmed their relationship last month.
They have since got the name Tsitsidosa after they set up a joint Instagram account under that name. On their bio, they describe themselves as "Best friends & soulmates. Nothing less; nothing more."
In a recent interview, Tsitsipas was asked who his ideal doubles partner outside the tennis world would be, to which he replied Margot Robbie.
The couple's new doubles partnership comes off the back of Badosa's recovery from a back injury that stopped her from participating in the French Open earlier this year.
The pair will face a difficult first match against the top mixed doubles seed, Americans Austin Krajicek and Jessica Pegula.
