Stefanos
Tsitsipas and
Paula Badosa shared a hilarious fall on social media.
The tennis
couple made their relationship public a month ago and have been sharing various
moments from their daily lives on social media. This time,
Stefanos Tsitsipas
and Paula Badosa uploaded a video of themselves playing on a zip line in the
backyard of a house, which ended in a funny fall.
In the
video, Tsitsipas and Badosa both get on the zip line, attempting to ride it
together. However, they were unable to complete the ride as they exceeded the
weight limit and ended up touching the ground halfway through. The video was
posted on a fan account on Instagram.
“Find
someone who looks at you like Stefanos looks at Paula ❤️😍," the video was captioned.
“This is
us.” Badosa wrote on Instagram, along with some laugh-out-loud emojis.
Tsitsipas
entered the main draw of
Wimbledon as the fifth seed and had a tough
first-round draw as he will face former US Open champion Dominic Thiem, who,
despite not being in his best form, holds a 5-4 head-to-head advantage over the
Greek player. If he advances, a potential matchup against 2-time Wimbledon
champion Andy Murray awaits, who will make his debut against wild card Ryan
Peniston.
On the
other hand, Badosa will be facing the experienced 33-year-old Alison Riske, who
reached the quarterfinals in 2019. If Badosa wins, she could potentially face
the 8th seed Maria Sakkari or Ukrainian player Marta Kostyuk.
The
25-year-old Spanish player has not competed on the WTA tour since the Rome
Open, where she reached the quarterfinals and lost to Jelena Ostapenko.
Throughout 2023, she has struggled with consistency, partly due to injuries
that prevented her from participating in both the Australian Open and the
French Open. As a result, her ranking has been affected, and she currently
stands at world No. 35. The "Tsidosa" duo will both make their debut
on Tuesday, July 4th.
