16yo Mirra Andreeva beats qualifying top seed Camila Osório to 7-6(8), 6-4 to reach the main draw at Roland Garros. Her first pro-Grand Slam main draw.
Mirra Andreeva has backed up her exploits from the Madrid Open with the 16-year-old Russian qualifying for the main draw at Roland Garros.
Andreeva didn't have an easy route either seeing off former WTA title winner and clay court specialist, Camila Osorio in the final round.
It was a scoreline of 7-6(8), 6-4 for Andreeva who will take her spot in the Main Draw shortly in Paris. Osorio though will likely qualify as a Lucky Loser being the top seed in qualifying.
This is due to Paula Badosa withdrawing earlier today from the tournament due to a stress fracture in her spine.
