2021 BAD HOMBURG OPEN Entry List with Halep, Kvitová and Kerber (Update 18-06)

The 2021 Bad Homburg Open is a WTA 250 tournament that will be played outdoors on grass courts, hosted in Bad Homburg, Germany from June 20-26 2021.

Initially scheduled for a 2020 launch, the event was postponed due to the Covid pandemic. Therefore, the inaugural edition will take place this year as WTA athletes use it to prepare for the hallowed grounds of Wimbledon.

Featuring a variety of stars, World No.3 Simona Halep recently announced she'll be making her return to tennis after missing Roland Garros due to injury. Two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitová and Greek Maria Sakkari have also confirmed their participation.

Hometown hero Angelique Kerber is sure to garner some local support, as she hopes to replicate her 2018 grass court season that culminated with her winning the Wimbledon title. Below is the full entry list.
