2022 Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic Draw including Sakkari, Osaka, Andreescu and Gauff

The 2022 edition of the San Jose WTA event will be the 50th edition of the event running from August 1st till August 7th.

The event is a WTA 500 one so the field of packed with a lot of great players that will all compete for the prize money and the points. The top seed is Maria Sakkari and the Greek player will be motivated after some recent struggles.

Her campaign will kick off either against Bianca Andreescu or Shelby Rogers in round two. The 2nd seed is Paula Badosa and she might face native Alison Riske in round two. Ons Jabeur is the 3rd seed and she might play Madison Keys or Shuai Zhang.

Other seeds include Garbine Muguruza who faces Camila Giorgi in round one. That should be a spectacular one considering the personalities of both. Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina returns to the courts and she faces Daria Kasatkina in round one.

Another interesting matchup includes Coco Gauff taking on Anhelina Kalinina in round one. Naomi Osaka also makes her return and she will face Qinwen Zheng. Check it out all below.
