Emma Raducanu is back home in the UK where she started practising on grass ahead of playing on the surface next week.
Raducanu will make her return to the grass next week in Nottingham and the Brit has already started practising on the surface. Grass will never be foreign to her because she's had plenty of time on the surface growing up in the UK but she nevertheless feels very excited to get back to it.
On a story posted on Instagram Raducanu is seen on the grass with the caption:
"First steps on this pretty"
She also commented on the Wimbleedon situation while in Paris saying:
"I think that it's definitely a pretty sad situation for all of the players. When we are out on the court, it's still the same, you still want to win and nothing is going to change in that sense. For me, I personally will play Wimbledon whatever. I have a got a lot of points coming off but for me it doesn't really matter whatever the situation is, I am here to play and I will play whatever the situation is."
