"It showed anyone can win it" - Gauff on Raducanu winning US Open

Emma Raducanu's US Open win showed any player can challenge for Grand Slam titles in women's tennis believes Coco Gauff.

Coco Gauff would like to do what Emma Raducanu did at the US Open and seeing it happen made her believe that truly anybody can do it on any given day. She explained:

"I'm thinking, especially if the US Open taught us anything, that anybody can win on any day. I think all players should really go into the match thinking about that."

Gauff has already booked her place in the final 8 of Roland Garros, the same stage where she lost last year. She believes herself capable of going further now:

"I think for me I've always believed that I could go far, but for other players I think so as well. In this tournament, both sides of the draw, with the exception of Iga, there are a lot of lower-seeded and lower-ranked players still left in the tournament. So I really think that players believe that. Other players believe that. I think a lot of it stems from that tournament."
