Naomi Osaka is through to the third round at the Western & Southern Open but had to come through a hard-fought tie against Karolina Muchova 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-2.

Osaka said that her attitude to the game was potentially the difference; and that remaining calm was the key for the two-time Grand Slam champion in coming back in the second set.
The No.4 seed also admitted that it was a learning curve of a match; and that she hopes to do this quicker next time out when Dayana Yastremska awaits.
"I think the difference [between winning and losing] was probably attitude," Osaka said, during her post-match press conference. "It kind of boils down to attitude, because for me I feel like I'm more open-minded when I'm calm, so maybe if I was upset I wouldn't have been able to apply the things that I knew I was doing wrong."
"In the second set I felt more at peace with myself. I realised that there are certain balls that I need to go for," Osaka added.
"I feel like I just learned a lot throughout the entire course of the match, and hopefully it's something that I can do at a quicker time rate."
