Jelena Ostapenko, former World No.5 had to come back from the brink to defeat Ekaterina Alexandrova in the Upper Austria Linz semi-finals.

Ostapenko saved three match points en route to a 1-6, 7-6, 7-5 victory over Alexandrova who was no.8 seed in the Austrian tournament.
It was a topsy turvy affair with each player having 14 break points in the match; but it was Ostapenko who claimed victory after brilliance at the end of the second and third sets including saving one match point.
Next up for the Latvian will be an intriguing tie; where she takes on Coco Gauff for the title; with the latter into her first WTA Tour final.
It could be a return to form for Ostapenko or the start of something special for the young American; it will be one to watch that is for sure!
