The annual
WTA Finals will take place between 2-9 November, with the best players on tour competing for the season-ending title in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The tournament will feature a group, round-robin format, before two players from each group will advance to the semifinals and then the championship match headlined by
Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek.
With only the best players competing, the tournament is offering an enormous $15,250,000 prize pool to the participants. This is a large increase from last year's event, which offered a total of $9,000,000. This in itself was an increase. The undefeated singles champion takes home over $5million as well as the extra cash for winning the round robin matches.
There is $350,000 for winning a match. The same for runner-up as well as $1,270,000. Participation fee overall is $335,000 per player. While for Emma Navarro and Daria Kasatkina as alternates, they receive $250,000 whether they play or not. Points wise it is 200 per Round Robin win then +900 for the winner and +400 for the loser.
