Sharapova set to return to Austria for first time in 13 years next month

Maria Sharapova will compete in Austria for the first time in 13 years after the Upper Austria Ladies in Linz which takes place in October was announced.
Sharapova has form in the tournament winning it in 2006 but has not competed in the European Indoor event since then.
The Russian said that she is really looking forward to returning to the tournament and to see all of the fans in Austria.
"I have so many great memories of the Linz tournament and I am really excited to be coming back to see many of my amazing fans," Sharapova said in a statement.
"I am very appreciative to the tournament and the sponsors and just very excited to play."
