Venus Williams makes surprise visit to Wimbledon as hamstring injury recovery continues: "Somehow all roads lead to Wimbledon"

The older of the Williams sisters won seven Grand Slams, five of them at Wimbledon. She also played in four other finals at the British tournament and was a doubles champion six times, all with her sister Serena. The former world No. 1 visited the place where she achieved her greatest successes in tennis and shared photos and videos on her social media.

In a video, she showed the view she had of the courts and exterior areas. She also posed in photographs with the trophies and at the entrance of the central court.

The American found a billboard advertisement of Reilly Opelka and shared it on her stories to joke about her compatriot: “Reilly Opelka, why you ain0t told me you was in London?”

Venus is still part of the WTA circuit although she is recovering from a hamstring injury, so there is no certainty about the date when she will return to play.
