Despite being sidelined by a wrist injury, tennis star
Karolina Muchova was seen participating in a tennis clinic as she recovers from the nagging ailment.
The World No.8 was forced to pull out of the 2024
Australian Open due to the right wrist injury, which happened at last year's US Open. The Czech star had hoped to return in time for the first Grand Slam of the season, but eventually withdrew from Melbourne citing a wrist flare-up.
Muchova coming off best season of her career
The 27-year old took to social media to display footage of herself participating in a tennis clinic, where she was seen wearing a brace on her right hand. It appears the wrist still has some way to go in terms of recovery, as the Czech star was seen swinging her racket and hitting groundstrokes with her left hand.
Muchova enjoyed one of her best seasons in 2023 and finished runner-up to the top-ranked Iga Swiatek at the French Open. Subsequently, she made a run to the US Open semifinals in September, where she suffered the right wrist issue. She was set to compete at the
WTA Finals in Cancun for the first time before pulling out and being replaced by Maria Sakkari.
