Jelena Ostapenko look away now as Hawkeye again reared its head albeit causing a delay in the match between Yulia Putintseva and Victoria Azarenka as a result. Getting reason to serve, Putintseva and Azarenka were both left confused and suddenly taken off court at the Miami Open.
Hawkeye malfunctioned and had a power outage and with a lack of line judges as a result of using the technology over humans, the play was delayed. It was swiftly restarted when the problem was rectified, but it comes only two days after Daria Kasatkina was left fuming as a call which was found out to be wrong wasn't rectified and it is an ongoing issue that Ostapenko has with the technology.
It is currently 5-5 in the first set between the pair as of time of writing, meaning that no player suffered massively amid the sudden delay.
