The US Open 2023 is coming towards its conclusion as fans are now gearing up for the last few days of action.

Like every year, this edition of the fourth and final Grand Slam will leave a mark on tennis fans all over the world who thoroughly enjoyed the efforts of the players in challenging action.

One such effort was on display during the semifinal of the US Open between America’s Coco Gauff and Czech Republic’s Karolina Muchova.

The players played a 40-shot long rally in the 12th game of the second set to entertain the fans sitting in the arena as well as the viewers watching it back home live on their television.

It was the young tennis star from the USA who came out on top in straight sets with a score of 6-4, 7-5 to book her place in the final of the mega-event.

Gauff will now face the newly-crowned world number one Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka in the grand finale of the tournament on Saturday in New York.

The 25-year-old booked a place in the final of the US Open for the first time after two consecutive semifinal appearances in the last two years.

She defeated America’s Madison Keys in an incredible manner with a score of 0-6, 7-6, 7-6 on Thursday.
