Billie Jean King Cup Finals is set to begin in less than
five days where some of the very best players in the women’s singles
category will be showcasing their talent in Seville, Spain.
We are going to look at four of those players in detail who
will take centre stage in the competition.
First on the list features Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan. The
24-year-old will be the highest-seeded player in the competition. She has had a
mixed year at the highest level as she was the runner-up at the Australian Open.
She recently took part in the WTA Finals but failed to get
past the group stage after losing to America’s Jessica Pegula and the current world
number one Aryna Sabalenka.
Next in the list features the Czech Republic’s Marketa
Vondrusova. The 24-year-old is the reigning Wimbledon champion and has an
impressive record while playing in the Billie Jean King Cup Finals as well where
she has only lost once in 13 outings, winning 12 out of them.
France’s Caroline Garcia will be another notable player to
take part in the competition. The 30-year-old won 21 times in the Billie Jean
King Cup Finals in just 28 outings.
America’s Madison
Keys will be taking part in the competition as well. The 28-year-old has won
six and lost six in 12 outings in the competition.
