Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki are through to the doubles final at the ASB Classic in Auckland after joining up on the last match on the main court.
Williams and Wozniacki continue to take out established doubles teams and this time it was Kirsten Flipkens and Alison Van Uytvanck.
They ended up winning 7-6(9), 6-2 after they both had previously played doubles matches making it through to the latter stages.
Both players will now have both the doubles final and potentially a latter singles run to contend with in what is the perfect preparation for both in terms of the Australian Open.
Wozniacki will of course retire after the next Grand Slam so this could act as the perfect swansong for the Dane who could claim both titles by the end of the weekend in Auckland.
