WTA DRAW 2024 ATX Open Austin including Anhelina KALININA, Sloane STEPHENS, Danielle COLLINS and Peyton STEARNS

The draw has been confirmed ahead of the ATX Open Austin which is due to take place between February 26 - March 3, 2024 and sees Anhelina Kalinina as top seed aiming to emulate Marta Kostyuk who won't defend her title but is reigning champion.

But it is mostly US based stars that will be involved including Sloane Stephens, Danielle Collins and Peyton Stearns who are among the main seeds in Austin. The latter two in particular were seen on a track day in a Ferrari together and for Stearns, it is sort of a homecoming.

Having two tournaments technically as home tournaments, she can count the Cincinnati Open being her birthplace, but also Stearns went to college in Texas playing for the Texan Longhorns and was NCAA Champion while in the state before turning pro. The 22-year-old returns for the first time since being a pro and has been a major part of the run-up after reaching the fourth round of the US Open in a breakout season.

Other players involved include Diane Parry, Xiyu Wang, Lucia Bronzetti who make up this WTA 250 tournament which begins a run of events alongside San Diego Open which comprises the Indian Wells and Miami run-in.
