2021 US Open Day 3 ATP & WTA Schedule of Play with Osaka, Halep, Medvedev and Tsitsipas

Day 3 at the US Open brings us the first matches of R2 of the event with Naomi Osaka, Simona Halep, Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas returning to the courts.

A packed day 3 of the US Open is upon with several notable players such as Halep, Osaka, Medvedev, Tsitsipas and more playing today. The forecast is a not favourable one with heavy rains expected throughout the day but we shall hope for the best. Play starts at 17:00 CET and on the men's side, we will start with teenage phenom Carlos Alcaraz who will take on Rinderknech.

Andrey Rublev will take on Pedro Martinez, Daniil Medvedev will play former College standout Dominik Koepfer. A couple of Americans will be in action as well as Tiafoe plays Pella while Nakashima takes on Molcan. The programme will close with Stefanos Tsitsipas taking on Adrian Mannarino at 01:00 CET.

On the WTA side, we will kick off with several great matches at 17:00 CET. Garbine Muguruza will take on Andrea Petkovic, Svitolina will play Masarova, while Jabeur will take on Osorio Serrano. Naomi Osaka will play on Ashe at 18:00 CET taking on Olga Danilovic. A bit later we will see Belarussians Azarenka and Sabalenka in action as well.

The night session will be spectacular with Coco Gauff taking on Sloane Stephens at 01:00 CET. It won't stop there as after them we will see former champ Angelique Kerber take on Kalinina who bested her easily at the French Open. You don't want to miss that.
