Alexander Zverev receiving Rod Laver Arena billing at Australian Open receives heavy criticism with upcoming trial

The schedule for Day Seven of the 2024 Australian Open was confirmed with one notable talking point and that was the inclusion of Alexander Zverev who has been under heavy criticism and scrutiny so far this tournament amid his domestic abuse trial in May after allegations were made and a penalty order issued by his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child, Brenda Patea.
Zverev will go on trial during Roland Garros and even in other players' press conferences, Zverev has been a hot topic with mainly no comment being the reply. He will play in the Night Session on Saturday against Alex Michelsen with Iga Swiatek, Carlos Alcaraz and also Qinwen Zheng v Wang Yafan also picked.
On social media, Daniil Medvedev and Felix Auger-Aliassime was singled out as a match that should've been on Rod Laver Arena instead. One fan though was not happy paying hundreds of dollars to watch Zverev. "As someone paying hundreds of $ for a seat on RLA tomorrow night I cannot tell you how disappointed I am that Zverev is playing. What on earth??? Why are you highlighting this person??," they wrote.
"Australian Open putting someone who is going to trial over domestic violence on the main court is disgusting. Will be ironic if any "violence against women, australia says no' ads run on tv during the match," another wrote.
Also it was noted that in the case of Margaret Court Arena, it seemingly has the better schedule throughout the tournament with many of the players on Rod Laver Arena being the same each time such as Aryna Sabalenka and Novak Djokovic. "2 things strike me. 1) MCA schedule looks far better than the RLA schedule. 2) Exactly what hold does Zverev have over tennis authorities that they continue to promote him in any shape or form?," another fan wrote.

- Sabalenka began showing signs of her game gradually 'changing' since last season. I predicted her fascination with posting endless Selfies, participating in commercial media distractions and constant Social Media nonsense could impact her in a negative way. Her off-court Life was sure to interfere with her performace level. Visions of Raducanu, Giorgi, Bouchard come to mind. The Final yesterday was a weird case of polar-opposites. Sabalenka and Rybakina could not be any more different in personalities! Saba often portrays a somewhat fake persona, including her Phony Screaming. Her usual habit of acting like the nice girl with a sense of humor is a misconception. People take her lack of intellect as "cute" and "funny". So anyway... yesterday viewers witnessed that Fake Scream be reduced to a whimper and sometimes no vocal gymnastics at all once she knew the jig was up. We all saw her look into the camera post-match and say "F... You". Also, pretty hard to not see Saba making untoward facial expressions, rolling her eyes, etc., behind Rybakina while on the podium. Elena Rybakina, on the other hand, was her usual 'in-control' self as she spoke clearly and calmly, without making faces nor any ill-will toward anyone = 100% Class Act. Lena appeared more than aware of Saba's sour attitude and made a point of not looking in her direction most of the time. FWIW: I have never -- not ever -- heard Sabalenka make any sounds on practice courts. So it is indeed a nonsensical ruse as she thinks (incorrectly) it affects opponents. It does not. In fact, as was the case yesterday, I saw Lena occasionally take a side-eye glance at Saba on her way to the bench... as if to calculate her emotions.
