The ATP Finals are due to take place between Sunday 9 November - Sunday 16 November 2025 as the season ender in Turin which sees the top eight players in the world face off.
Jannik Sinner is the defending champion in defeating Taylor Fritz last year 6-4, 6-4. As ever it sees the top eight go into groups which are now confirmed and they will face off in Round Robin format.
The top two from each group moves through to the semi-final and face the corresponding players so top of one group faces the second from the other until we reach a final with a sizeable fee and the chance to be crowned champion.
Novak Djokovic has now withdrawn. Felix Auger-Aliassime Lorenzo Musetti join a field led by Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Taylor Fritz, Alexander Zverev, Alex de Minaur among others.

Predictions

Samuel Gill, Head Editor of TennisUpToDate.com sees Jannik Sinner claiming the title in Turin.
Jannik Sinner no doubt will thrive again and with it being indoors, it is bound to hamper Carlos Alcaraz. Alcaraz has an indoor court built in Spain but never seems to crack it.
Will put both making the final being in separate groups but Sinner is bound to be favoured given he faces Zverev, Shelton and the winner of the final spot.
Alcaraz has a harder group with likely Novak Djokovic, Alex de Minaur and Taylor Fritz so I even see him going out early given his tough route.
Favourites
*** Jannik Sinner
** Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic
* Alex de Minaur, Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz
Lucas Michael, Editor for TennisUpToDate.com also sees Jannik Sinner as the champion.
The ATP Finals conclude the tennis for 2025, and similar to the trend of this campaign I cannot avert my gaze from one of the big two from clinching the title.
Jannik Sinner goes into the event in my mind as the favourite after his imperious form on indoor courts continue to amaze fans and pundits alike. It is almost like playing a robot on the hardest difficulty, with the Italian rarely blinking. However, write off Alcaraz at your peril. If anyone can defeat Sinner, it is him, and he has proved it multiple times throughout the campaign.
Outside of those two, I cannot see anyone else getting close. If he plays, Novak Djokovic will be the biggest threat in my eyes. While at 38-years-old, he is still competing with the best, but getting over the line is the problem.
Alexander Zverev and Taylor Fritz could cause some issues, but their recent form against the big two trails me away from considering them for the title. Overall, I cannot look past Sinner and his ominous indoor hardcourt form.
*** Jannik Sinner
** Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic
* Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, Ben Shelton
