In a new Daily Dose of Social Media, Jannik Sinner stole the spotlight as the ATP Finals champion after defeating Carlos Alcaraz. Both players took to their social media platforms following another great final in Turin, where Sinner celebrated his trophy while Alcaraz congratulated his colleague on another title—after the latest episode in their rivalry.
Meanwhile, Danielle Collins reappeared on social media, joking about her dating profile that went public in recent days. Concurrently, Iga Świątek posted photos on Instagram after finally ending her season following the Billie Jean King Cup, while Emma Raducanu is enjoying her off-season, and Holger Rune is providing updates on his recovery period after an unfortunate injury.

Danielle Collins mocks dating drama

Danielle Collins shared some photos on her social media, where she made light of the news concerning her in recent days. The American posted some photos with the caption "POV: I’m your date 😜," just days after her dating app profile was revealed, featuring a profile that excluded anyone who is short or couldn't afford to make her a stay-at-home mom.
"Currently a professional tennis player, but kind of aspiring to be a trad wife. Straight up," her profile reads. "Already had my boss babe era. Just wanting to raise my chickens, do home projects, make freshly baked sourdough, be a stay-at-home dog mom, and hopefully pop out some babies soon. If you’re going to lie about your height just leave me the f*** alone. This is a no short kings zone."
Collins may have better luck finding love on television if show producers can stump up enough cash to get her onboard. "I would consider maybe going on reality TV, but it depends. Like I don’t know if they can afford me. Listen, you know what I mean?," she said on The Gay Tennis Podcast. "Because this is like some blockbuster entertainment right here, right?"
Danielle Collins' return to the courts after her brief announcement of retirement in 2024 has not been what the American player expected. In 2025, the American player has accumulated a 15-14 record, which has caused her to drop to 69th in the rankings.

Rune faces road back from achilles surgery

Holger Rune continues his work routines following his Achilles tendon rupture, in the midst of a long recovery to return to the courts after an unfortunate injury. The former World No. 4 ended the season in the worst possible way after suffering a severe injury during the semifinals of the Stockholm Open, while facing Ugo Humbert. After taking the lead (6-4, 2-2), the Dane was forced to retire and needed the help of a physiotherapist to leave the court.
A few days later, Rune announced that he would undergo surgery for the Achilles tendon injury, which will keep him out of the courts for at least six to nine months. The former Paris Masters champion ended a season with a 36-22 record—precisely while fighting for a spot at the ATP Finals. Finally, after missing the last weeks of competition, he finished the year ranked World No. 15, though in the best-case scenario, he will reappear towards the middle of 2026—or could even miss the entire season.

Sinner extends unbeaten indoor streak after ATP Finals title

The World No. 2, Jannik Sinner, celebrated his new ATP Finals title after overcoming Carlos Alcaraz by 7-6(4), 7-5 in the final in Turin. The Italian took to social media to post a celebration of his new ATP title and his successful defense of the trophy he won in 2024. Sinner maintains his indoor hardcourt winning streak at 31 consecutive victories on the surface, in addition to completing 14 wins in his last 15 ATP Finals matches—a truly impressive figure considering he has only faced rivals from at least the Top 10.
And this evening, he defeated none other than World No. 1, Carlos Alcaraz, getting revenge for the several defeats he suffered against Carlitos this season. Alcaraz had won 4 of the previous 5 finals this year, but Sinner stood strong as the home favorite and ended up claiming his 5th title of the season, while also narrowing the head-to-head record against his classic rival to 6-10.

Alcaraz congratulates Sinner

The runner-up, Carlos Alcaraz, also reacted, not hesitating to greet and congratulate his colleague on social media. In the post by the six-time Major champion, he congratulated his colleague and expressed his anticipation for a rematch a year from now, at the next ATP Finals. This was the first time Alcaraz had reached the final of this tournament, but he will have to keep waiting to win a title at the year-end indoor hardcourt tournament.

Swiatek finishes strong after Billie Jean King Cup ties

Iga Swiatek has finished her extensive 2025 season after starring in the Billie Jean King Cup series with Poland. The six-time Major champion played one last tournament representing her country before the year ended, as part of the European team in the play-offs, where Poland comfortably defeated their rivals, New Zealand and Romania, both by 6-0.
Swiatek had no major complications in securing victory in the two singles matches she played. First, she faced Elyse Tse (No. 909), conceding barely a game to win 6-0, 6-1 in just 45 minutes. It was not much different against Gabriela Lee (No. 292), whom she overcame 6-2, 6-0 in just an hour and two minutes. While Swiatek faced much lower-ranked opponents, it is a good way to end a season with ups and downs, but one in which she secured another Grand Slam title at Wimbledon. The Pole now sets her sights on 2026, which she will begin as World No. 2 and will have to resume the battle for the top spot in the rankings.

Raducanu soaks up London life

Emma Raducanu has once again shared several photos of her vacation days while enjoying the off-season in London. The 2021 US Open champion has shared various pictures during her recent days in the English capital, where she took advantage of visiting an English rugby match the day before, and has also spent some time with friends and family.
The Brit ended the year as World No. 29 after a good season in terms of consistency, with a 28-22 record and nearly $1.5 million in earnings. Raducanu is enjoying her free time before starting her preparations for the 2026 season, where her first tournament will be the United Cup—where she will join Jack Draper representing Great Britain. This tournament is part of her preparation for the Australian Open, where she will return as one of the seeded players for the first time in four years.
