After a new week of competition, not only were the ATP Rankings updated, but also the season’s Prize Money Leaders. The champions of the week at the ATP 500 events were the ones who came away with the biggest smiles, led by Carlos Alcaraz – champion at the Qatar Open – and Tomas Martin Etcheverry – champion at the Rio Open.
They were not the only ones who added significant prize money, as Sebastian Korda – champion in Delray Beach – as well as the runner-up of Rio and Doha – Tabilo and Fils – achieved important climbs.
However, there are no major changes in the upper zone, with a top-10 that remains almost unchanged, even with Jannik Sinner only at No. 7 and the surprising appearance of Alex de Minaur as No. 2 – only behind Alcaraz.

Alcaraz pulls further clear after second title of the season

A top-10 that does not vary too much, especially after Alcaraz lifted his second trophy of the season on Saturday, defeating Arthur Fils by a commanding 6-1, 6-2. The Spaniard added a little over $500K to his bank account, which allows him to reach more than double the amount of second place, with a total of $3.3 million earned in 2026 – especially thanks to his title at the Australian Open.
Meanwhile, Alex de Minaur ($1.47M) remains in second place, despite having been out of competition in the last week. The champion of the Rotterdam Open had moved up a week earlier into second place – pushing Novak Djokovic ($1.43M) down to third place, who has only played the Aussie Open so far this year, falling in the final of the tournament.
Still at some distance are Alexander Zverev ($1.17M) and Ben Shelton ($1.05M), who for now are the only other players who have already crossed the one-million-dollar barrier in on-court earnings. The German will be competing this week at the Acapulco Open, although for the moment he cannot move up positions – even if he were to win the ATP 500 title taking place this week in Mexico.
The top-10 remains almost unchanged compared to last week, with several of the top names out of competition in the past seven days. Taylor Fritz takes sixth place ($943K), while it is surprising to see Jannik Sinner ($912K) only in seventh place – a sign that he has slightly slowed his pace in this 2026 – although he has only played two tournaments so far this season, losing in the Melbourne semifinals against Djokovic and in the Doha quarterfinals against Mensik.
The top-10 is completed by Hubert Hurkacz ($887K), Felix Auger-Aliassime ($852K) and Jakub Mensik ($794K). Precisely the Czech was one of those who completed a good week in Qatar, reaching the semifinals – and being Sinner’s executioner during the week, one of the best victories of his career.

Etcheverry, Fils and Tabilo make the biggest jumps of the week

Among those who achieved significant advances, perhaps the most notable is that of Tomas Martin Etcheverry, who added nearly $440K this week – more than double his season earnings from just a week ago. The Argentine had an epic Sunday, playing both semifinal and final matches on the same day, and in both coming back from a set down to claim victory. He climbed from No. 32 to a respectable 11th place, and being this week one of the favourites for the title at the Chile Open, advancing a few rounds could mean positioning himself among the 10 players with the highest earnings of the year.
Another who can boast a strong week are the finalists of both ATP 500 events of the week. Arthur Fils ($369K) – despite the disappointing defeat – took home $285K, which allows him to move from outside the top-100 to No. 30 in year-to-date prize money. A similar case was that of Tabilo ($413K), who left with a disappointing loss (letting slip a 6-4, 3-1 advantage), but can also be satisfied with a $285K prize and a climb of 50 positions up to No. 25 in prize money this year.
A separate mention for the Delray Beach champion, local player Sebastian Korda ($358K), who added $106,460, climbing 13 places up to No. 32. His runner-up Tommy Paul also added $62,115, which allows him to position himself at No. 21.
