Novak Djokovic will join Carlos Alcaraz and Holger Rune at the Hurlingham Tennis Classic, a pre-Wimbledon event.

This exciting event, known as the 2023 Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic, will take place at the esteemed Hurlingham Club from June 27th to July 1st.

With a rich history spanning 27 years, the Hurlingham Tennis Classic has attracted some of the biggest names in the sport, including legends like Rafael Nadal, Maria Sharapova, Andy Murray, and Boris Becker. It serves as a valuable opportunity for players to fine-tune their skills and adapt to the unique challenges presented by grass court surfaces.

As a 23-time Grand Slam champion, Djokovic is no stranger to success on the hallowed lawns of Wimbledon, having triumphed there on seven previous occasions. Remarkably, he has reigned supreme in the last four editions of the tournament, showcasing his mastery of grass court tennis.

With his participation in the Hurlingham Tennis Classic, Djokovic aims to capitalize on the valuable practice time and gain crucial momentum heading into the prestigious Wimbledon Championships.

In addition to Djokovic, the event boasts an impressive lineup of top-tier players, including the rising Spanish sensation Carlos Alcaraz, Danish youngstar Holger Rune, the Norwegian Casper Ruud, the British player Cameron Norrie, and the American Frances Tiafoe.

The star-studded field also features the Austrian Dominic Thiem, the Swiss Stan Wawrinka, the German Alexander Zverev, as well as the promising young talents Luca Van Assche and Jiri Lehecka.

Wimbledon, the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament in the world, will commence its qualifying rounds from June 26th to 29th, followed by the main draw from July 3rd to 16th. Notably, Carlos Alcaraz has the potential to secure the coveted first seed position at Wimbledon should he emerge victorious at the Queen's Club, a feat that would also see him reclaim the world No. 1 ranking currently held by Djokovic following his recent triumph at the French Open.

As the tennis world eagerly anticipates the grass court season, the Hurlingham Tennis Classic promises to deliver exciting and high-quality matches as players seek to fine-tune their game and make their mark on the greenest stage in tennis.
