Guillermo Coria's younger brother Federico is finally making a name for himself at 28, gaining almost 200 positions on the ATP ranking list in the past two years to enter the top-100.
Speaking about his favorite player, Federico mentioned
Novak Djokovic as the one he looks after the most, thanks to their similar play style. The Argentine believes that Novak will finish his career with more Major titles than
Rafael Nadal and
Roger Federer, trailing three trophies behind his greatest rivals ahead of the new season.
Djokovic has been the player to beat in the previous decade, lifting 16 Major trophies since the Australian Open 2011 to reduce the gap to Federer and Nadal and enter the GOAT race. Novak will seek the ninth Australian Open title in February, winning the eighth 12 months ago following a thrilling victory over Dominic Thiem.
"I know perhaps I'm not being politically correct, but maybe because of my playing style, I look up to Novak Djokovic the most. To me, he's the maximum level of perfection, and I'm sure he'll be the player with most Majors won in the future,"
Federico Coria said.
