Gael Monfils and Hubert Hurkacz are set to join Team Europe at this year's Laver Cup, while Tommy Paul, Francisco Cerundolo, and Ben Shelton join Team World.
The 2023 Laver Cup will take place at the end of September, and as always will see Team Europe and Team World face off against each other for the title. First held in 2017, the Cup will pit six top European players against six counterparts from the rest of the world.
The line-up for this year's edition is now complete, with the latest announcements being made ahead of the US Open which starts on August 28.

Who is in Team Europe?

Both teams are captained by former players, and Team Europe will be led by 11-time Grand Slam champion Bjorn Borg from Sweden. The vice-captain is his younger compatriot Thomas Enqvist.
The highest-ranked player in the team is world No. 4 Holger Rune. The Dane was forced to withdraw from the Cincinnati Open last week due to a back injury but is hoping to be healthy again for the upcoming US Open.
He is followed by world No. 5 Casper Ruud. The Norwegian dropped to seventh in the rankings last week after some early defeats at recent tournaments, but he climbed back up to the top 5 on Monday.
The team also features world No. 7 Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece), and No. 8 Andrey Rublev. Moreover, it has now been announced that Hurkacz (Poland) and Monfils (France) will round out the team's line-up. Hurkacz is currently ranked at No. 17 in the world, and Monfils is a former world No. 6.

Who is on Team World?

Team world's captain is American seven-time Grand Slam champion John McEnroe, who is accompanied by vice-captain and younger brother Patrick.
There are also four American players on Team World, two of which are world No. 9 Taylor Fritz and No. 10 Frances Tiafoe. It has also now been announced they will be joined by No. 14 Paul, who defeated world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz at the Canadian Open last week, and young tennis talent Shelton.
The two Non-Americans on the team are Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime and Argentinian player Cerundolo. The former has had a difficult season, dropping out of the top 10 in the Pepperstone ATP singles rankings, but will be hoping to find some of his old form in the coming weeks at the US Open and at this tournament.
Australian player Nick Kyrgios was announced as part of Team World but later withdrew due to injuries that have seen him miss most of the 2023 season so far.
