Laver Cup Day 1 Schedule with Federer & Nadal taking on Sock & Tiafoe in Swiss final match

The first day of Laver Cup is today and we're only a few hours away with the programme starting at 14:00 CET and we'll see it end with Federer's final career match.

The official retirement of Roger Federer is happening later today when he and Nadal take on Sock and Tiafoe in the final match of the day. Prior to that, we will have three singles matches with one of those starting off the night session at 20:00 CET.

Match number one brings us Casper Ruud against Jack Sock. The American usually plays doubles so this is a great opportunity for him to prove himself. It will be followed by Tsitsipas and Schwartzman, a solid matchup that should warm up the crowd.

The night session begins tonight and it will start with Murray and De Minaur with the match of the day being the doubles after that. Roger Federer will partner with longtime rival and friend Rafael Nadal in a match against Tiafoe and Sock.

It will be fun and it will be a celebration of the career of Federe for whom that will be the final match.
