Novak Djokovic will make his return to action next week at the
Monte-Carlo Masters and has been spotted practicing ahead of said return after his recent poor displays culminating in an early loss at Indian Wells and he was joined by his temporary coach.
Nenad Zimonjic, a multiple time Grand Slam doubles champion who has teamed with Djokovic on many occasions was recently brought in with the 47-year-old seemingly taking Djokovic on a temporary basis after splitting with Goran Ivanisevic recently.
Ivanisevic coached Djokovic for six years throughout most of his recent success. But seemingly after his latest loss to Luca Nardi who at the time was World No.123, Djokovic decided to freshen it up.
Zimonjic was previously part of Djokovic's team but decided against being more permanent back in 2022 due to the full-time schedule needed. But could now be the time? Djokovic was practicing also with
Holger Rune during his practice session as his clay court season begins in earnest next week and amid rumours that he wants to hire a woman potentially for the role, Zimonjic seems to be in pole position.
