Day Three of the Laver Cup gets underway today, September 24, in Vancouver, Canada. Here is our preview and schedule for the third and final day of the team event featuring some of the top players on the ATP Tour.
Team World has built up a huge lead of 10-2 over the first two days of this year's Laver Cup as they aim to defend their title won in London last year. Team Europe have only won one match so far, as Casper Ruud took down Tommy Paul yesterday.
Day Three will start with a doubles match, as Team Europe's Hubert Hurkacz and Andrey Rublev take on Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe.
This is each of the player's second outing in doubles at the tournament. Rublev and Arthur Fils lost to Tiafoe and Tommy Paul on Day One, before Hurkacz and Monfils were defeated by Shelton and Felix Auger-Aliassime on Day Two.

Fritz to lock horns with Ruud

Following this, World No. 8 Taylor Fritz will lock horns with World No. 9 Ruud. The American ousted World No. 6 Rublev yesterday, 6-2, 7-6 (3), while Ruud is the only member of Team Europe to have won a match so far with his 7-6 (6), 6-2 victory over Paul.
Following this, Rublev will take on Tiafoe in the third match of the day if required. The American leads their head-to-head on the ATP Tour 2-1, having won their last meeting in straight sets at the 2022 US Open.
So far at the tournament, Tiafoe has defeated World No. 16 Hurkacz 7-5, 6-3, while Rublev will be wanting to record another win for Team Europe before the end of the event.
Finally, Hurkacz will take on home player Auger-Aliassime if required in the final match of the event. The Canadian leads their head-to-head 2-1, although the Polish player won their last match against each other at the 2022 Halle Open in straight sets.
