Rafael Nadal withdraws from Paris Masters

It should have been a highly-anticipated clash in the final as everybody expected Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal to meet. The Spaniard was almost flawless in France winning all 6 sets he played there and despite the great form of Shapovalov, Nadal was, of course, the favourite.

But even before the match started, Nadal withdrew and so Shapovalov advances into his 2nd final this year, where he will meet Novak Djokovic who defeated Grigor Dimitrov earlier today.
