"This is what I have wanted to do since I was young, I wanted to entertain people" - Draper after thrilling win over Musetti at Next Gen Finals

Jack Draper smashed Lorenzo Musetti in a crucial match for the Next Gen semi-finals expressing happiness about the achievement.

Draper was widely considered one of the favourites to win the event alongside Musetti but the rise of Stricker saw one of them eliminated in the group stage of the event. Draper smashed Musetti comfortably to win in straight sets and it was a slow rise from a rather lacklustre performance in the first match:

"Yesterday I played a bit better than my first match and then today I really hit some form. I played well, served great. Lorenzo is a great player and he may have been a bit tired after his match yesterday, but I am glad with the way I played today.”

Draper loves playing for the crowd even if the crowd is not actively rooting for him. The Milan one was not even thought there were some British fans in the stands:

"I like crowds, if they are with me or not. This is what I have wanted to do since I was young. I wanted to entertain people. This is why I train every day.”
