After two long years, the
Indian Wells Masters is back and let's celebrate that with the best point in its history.
The Indian Wells Masters has been many great matches and many great points in its history however one particular point and rally always sticks out. It was the 2005 Indian Wells Open, then called Pacific Life Open and it was the final between
Roger Federer and
Lleyton Hewitt. It was at a time when Master's finals were played in a bo5 format and it's was a glorious match.
Probably one of the best matches ever played at the event also featured probably the best rally and point ever played. The point featured a very long rally which demonstrated just how great Roger Federer was. Hewitt was able to win the point in the end but it took a tremendous effort to do so.
Federer was the eventual champion winning the final 6-2 6-4 6-4 for his 24th career title overall at that time. Check it out below.
