In my opinion everyone is and should be equal to everyone. No matter your background, gender, religion, ethnicity or race. Modern feminism has swerved from gender equality into a cult of outrage that seeks to disparage men. How is that fair?
Stefanos Tsitsipas enraged many fans by retweeting what many perceived as an anti-feminism stance and then he responded.
Tsitsipas has been quite outspoken recently in some of his views and often tweets philosophical quotes about many different topics. He retweeted a message that many perceived to be quite anti-feminist. It reads:
"Modern feminism teaches women to hate men. Women to hate women that are proud to be women. And makes men ashamed to be men. It’s a real shame to see something that was initially pure turn so cancerous."
Fans were swift to attack Tsitsipas for his views but he eventually responded by sharin his view:
"In my opinion, everyone is and should be equal to everyone. No matter your background, gender, religion, ethnicity or race. Modern feminism has swerved from gender equality into a cult of outrage that seeks to disparage men. How is that fair?"
Fans were not happy with this response either as they perceived it as doubling down on the message. A few hours later he posted a series of tweets praising feminism as beneficial to everybody because it promotes egaliterianism which he firmly belives in.
