(VIDEO) Djokovic receives loud booing and code violation after smashing racquet and leaving dent in net pole at Wimbledon

In the deciding set of the 2023 Wimbledon final, tensions boiled over for Novak Djokovic with the Serbian ace smashing his racquet against the net pole.

After being broken at 2-1, Djokovic had every right to be annoyed but received even more loud booing than usual from the Centre Court crowd.

He threw his racquet towards the net pole and left a huge dent in the wood before receiving a code violation.

His wrist also started to suffer as he kept shaking it out and shanking his shots wayward on the Alcaraz' service game.
