Strange moment in the Mannarino vs Krajinovic match Adrian says Filip’s ball was in, but the umpire checks the mark anyways Umpire tells Adrian the ball was out, but gives him the option to concede the point Filip’s not happy about how it went down
The Geneva Open started in strange fashion on Monday as Adrian Mannarino faced Filip Krajinovic, but not without drama in Switzerland as the umpire provided a bizarre decision.
Mannarino said Krajinovic's ball was in and was expecting no further action but the umpire jumped down and told him that it was in fact out but gave him the option to concede the point.
Krajinovic as expected was not happy, with Mannarino not seemingly being too fussed either about the point potentially being overturned. This season has seen clay court action provide drama but due to organisation but also with a lack of hawkeye and this is another.
