It was an opportunity missed in many ways for
Andy Murray and he was reminded of a moment which should have handed him momentum in the match towards the victory against
Stefanos Tsitsipas at
Wimbledon.
Told in the post match press conference that if challenged a point at 15-30 was actually in despite being called out.
This was pivotal as Murray missed an opportunity to potentially force Tsitsipas into a break point, and maybe having a chance to serve out.
"The 15-30 point, my return was in?" he responded. "Yep," came the answer. "Oh ..." as his fingers pinched the bridge of his nose.
"That's obviously frustrating," he said.
In the end, Murray went on to lose in a match that he potentially dubbed his final at Wimbledon.
With him being towards the twilight of his career instead of the start, every opportunity could be the last.
A favourable draw now for Tsitsipas sees him face Laslo Djere for a spot in the Quarter-Finals and could have seen Murray delight the home fans in his best run in a number of years.
In many ways, an opportunity missed at Wimbledon.
