Novak Djokovic has revealed he still feels confident ahead of the upcoming summer
Olympic Games and subsequently the
US Open.
The Serbian made ana amazing recovery from an injury suffered earlier in June, racing through his recovery process in order to compete at Wimbledon. Djokovic showed little signs of rust during the grass court Grand Slam, but was handily defeated by Alcaraz in the final.

Speaking after the Wimbledon final. the 24-time Grand Slam champion admitted to not being at the same level as Alcaraz and World No.1 Jannik Sinner this season. However, he intends to rediscover his form ahead of the Olympics in Paris, which will be held on the clay courts of Roland Garros, and the US Open.
"I still have intentions to play Olympic Games, hopefully have a chance to fight for a medal for my country," said Djokovic. "On a completely different surface obviously, going back to the place where I got injured some weeks ago. Let's see.
"Let's see how physically and mentally I'm going to feel. Hopefully I can find the right tennis because I'm going to need all I have and more to go to the final of the Olympic Games.
“The Olympic Games and US Open are the two big goals for the rest of the year for me really. I'm hoping I can be at my best on those two tournaments.”
The US Open, the last Major of the year, starts on August 26, three weeks after the conclusion of the tennis event at the Olympics.
