Third round action continues at Roland Garros on Saturday with a top slate of action including Iga Swiatek, Holger Rune, Alexander Zverev and Mirra Andreeva v Coco Gauff.

The schedule is now confirmed and our preview as ever takes you through Day Seven including the main Matches to Watch.

Matches to watch

Elena Rybakina v Sara Sorribes Tormo

Opening up Court Phillippe Chatrier and the Matches to Watch is Elena Rybakina who will face Sara Sorribes Tormo on Saturday.

So far, she has seen off Linda Noskova and Brenda Fruhvirtova without too much difficulty.

Head to head wise, Sorribes Tormo is 1-0 seeing off Rybakina in Miami in 2021 6-1, 3-6, 6-2.

Albeit Rybakina is a different player since then and faces the Spaniard who has also battled injuries and is firmly now on the comeback trail.

*Note Rybakina has now withdrawn from the tournament so Rune opens up.

Iga Swiatek v Xinyu Wang

Iga Swiatek will face XInyu Wang for the first time since her Wimbledon Juniors run back in 2018.

Swiatek took that in the semi-final 7-5, 7-6 before winning the final which helped to start the hype.

Five years on and they meet at Roland Garros and for Swiatek, she has eased through the motions so far.

Mirroring scorelines of 6-4, 6-0 taking full control in the second set, she has opened her bakery multiple times and will aim to do so again on Saturday.

Alexander Zverev v Frances Tiafoe

On the Night Session, it is once again an ATP game which takes centre stage as Alexander Zverev again plays against Frances Tiafoe.

Two entertainers and in the case of Zverev, he is looking to catch form again after his horrific injury 12 months ago and is so far going through the rounds.

But Zverev has had it easier so far and also has a superb head to head record boasting six wins out of seven. Tiafoe has also lost their last four albeit this is their first meeting on clay.

Mirra Andreeva v Coco Gauff

A tie which interestingly is on Suzanne Lenglen which has surprised many given the intrigue that it has caused.

16-year-old Mirra Andreeva has been making real waves in the past few months at the Madrid Open and now Roland Garros.

Ons Jabeur herself said that tennis needs players like Andreeva and she has caught attention not only for her must watch tennis but also her superb interviews.

Her next opponent has a beautiful face according to Andreeva and they practiced together, the first time they met and now they share a court for real.

Will the Andreeva fairytale continue or will Gauff who herself knows what it is like as a teenager to have spotlight crush it?

Ruud, Rune, Fritz, Jabeur and Andreescu all in action and back-to-back Brazilians on Simonne Mathieu

Taylor Fritz will return to action third on Suzanne Lenglen and will face Francisco Cerundolo albeit the latter will likely be the crowd favourite.

Fritz drew the ire on Thursday after shushing the crowd ala Daniil Medvedev and silencing the partisan crowd in taking down Arthur Rinderknech.

Sports fans aren't the type to forget in a hurry so the American will likely receive a hostile reception.

Holger Rune joins Swiatek, Rybakina and Zverev on Chatrier, he faces qualifier Genaro Alberto Olivieri after Gael Monfils withdrew last round.

Ruud will face rising Chinese ace, Zhizhen Zhang in an outsider for match of the day. Bianca Andreescu takes on Lesia Tsurenko after a double dose of Brazilians as Thiago Seyboth-Wild and Beatriz Haddad-Maia take to the court.

Ons Jabeur is also on last on Suzanne Lenglen facing Olga Danilovic.
