Coco Gauff led the list of tennis players who appeared among the 50 Most Marketable Athletes of SportsPro. The 2-time Grand Slam champion was one of six tennis players—men and women—included in SportsPro's most recent 2025 list.
The World No. 3 is one of the undisputed stars of the Tour, a recent champion at the Wuhan Open for her second title of the season, and qualified for the WTA Finals in the third spot. However, she also leads off the court in terms of the most marketable athletes in the world, being the only tennis player to enter the Top-10.
The list is led by motorist Lewis Hamilton, accompanied by gymnast Simone Biles and rugby player Ilona Maher, who complete the podium. Within the Top-10, names like Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, Caitlin Clark, and Stephen Curry stand out—in addition to the American Coco Gauff, who finished in 10th place.
The list measures the brand value and commercial projection of athletes. Furthermore, it is based on a 100-point evaluation model distributed across three pillars: brand strength (35%), total addressable market (35%), and economics (30%).
Among the tennis players, the 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic (No. 15) and the two best players in the world currently also appear: Carlos Alcaraz (No. 18) and Jannik Sinner (No. 21). On the women's side, the No. 1 and No. 2 also have their spot, with Aryna Sabalenka at No. 27 and Iga Swiatek at No. 40—the latter being the final tennis player to appear on the list.

Alcaraz, Sinner, Gauff: Top tennis earners driven by massive off-court sponsorship deals

According to a Forbes report a couple of months ago, the total earnings of the ATP and WTA Tour's biggest stars over the last 12 months were quantified, with Carlos Alcaraz at the top—with a total of $48.3 million up to that moment—$35 million of which came from off-court sponsorships, including BMW, Rolex, Nike, and Louis Vuitton, in addition to his inclusion in the three-episode Netflix documentary 'A mi manera' ('My Way').
In second place was Sinner with $47.3 million, $27.3 million of which was off-court, including associations with important Italian firms like Gucci, Lavazza, Rolex, Alfa Romeo, and De Cecco pasta.
The 21-year-old star only appeared in third place, having earned $37.2 million—$12.2 million on-court and $25 million off-court. The American has secured lucrative deals, including with Bose and New Balance, in addition to important investments, such as investments in Unrivaled or the launch of her own management firm. She was followed in the Top-5 by Novak Djokovic ($29.6m) and Aryna Sabalenka ($27.4m), while Iga Swiatek only appeared in 7th place—behind the Chinese player Zheng Qinwen.
