In a new Daily Dose of Social Media, Nick Kyrgios had a brutal response against Boris Becker after the German’s reaction to a meme about the Kyrgios-Sinner controversy following the Italian’s doping case.
Sinner is enjoying his free time skiing in the Italian Alps after accepting his three-month suspension, while Daria Kasatkina shared a fun video playing pool with the recent Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships champion, teenager Mirra Andreeva.
Jannik Sinner was recently spotted enjoying his free time skiing in the snow, one of his greatest passions outside the court. The Italian will be unable to compete for the next three months, giving him time to disconnect, as he is not allowed to participate in official events or train at facilities associated with the ATP, WTA, ITF, or other professional tennis organizations.
In the meantime, the current world No. 1 has retreated to the Alpine mountains in Italy, where he posed for several photos with fans who recognized him during his break. The 3-time Grand Slam champion is set to return in May for the Italian Open. Thanks to the significant points lead he has built, he is mathematically guaranteed to remain at the top of the rankings upon his comeback.

Nick Kyrgios and Boris Becker had a social media clash after the 6-time Grand Slam champion reacted to a meme mocking Kyrgios and his repeated attacks on Jannik Sinner. The Australian has been highly critical of the doping case involving the world No. 1 and has seized every opportunity to take shots at the Italian since the news broke.
Regardless of Kyrgios’ opinion, some find it repetitive that the 2022 Wimbledon finalist continues his attacks on Sinner. A user on X posted an edited image of Kyrgios appearing as an elderly man, with the caption:
“2084:
- Did I tell you about the time Jannik Sinner failed two doping tests? The whole system is rigged! Why won’t the establishment do anything? This is why I never won a big title!"
- "Nick, did you make a poopy diaper again?"
The meme caught the attention of former world No. 1 Becker, who simply replied with "lol," a reaction Kyrgios did not let slide. The Australian fired back at the German with a harsh response: "What’s up, criminal?"—a reference to Becker’s time in prison for financial fraud and concealing assets worth over 3 million euros.

Rafael Nadal posed for a photo with the pilots of Team Rafa, the E1 Series team owned by the 22-time Grand Slam champion. The former Spanish tennis player invested in the UIM E1 Series, the first and only international offshore powerboat racing series featuring fully electric boats.
Team Rafa, led by the former world No. 1, secured its first victory in the UIM E1 World Championship presented by PIF when the fully electric race boat series landed at the Visit Qatar E1 Doha GP. Nadal shared a photo congratulating his team’s pilots.
“Last August we celebrated together the second position 🥈 of @e1teamrafa at Lago di Como. We set ourselves the goal of winning an @e1series event soon... And you did it today in Doha! Congratulations to the whole team for a great success! The first 🏆 of many! What a great weekend @crislazarraga33 & @tom.chiappe! Vamos! 💪🏼”
Paula Badosa answered a round of questions and answers upon her arrival at the Mérida Open. The Spanish former Indian Wells champion will be the second seed in the draw, behind only American Emma Navarro. Badosa spoke about her pre-match rituals.
"Before matches and every morning when I wake up, I meditate—I think it always helps me calm my nerves. I always talk to my team before matches, a bit tactically and also about how I feel mentally," said the former world No. 2. "And then, listening to music when I step onto the court helps me a lot. I really like reggaeton."
The 4-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz took part in a Q&A session where the Spaniard had to choose between two options related to his game in a segment called “One Must Go” at the Qatar Open. Alcaraz had to decide between “never hit a drop shot again or never play on hard court” and “never hit a forehand or never play singles.”
The former world No. 1 had an early exit at the Qatar Open, where he was the top seed, after falling in the quarterfinals to Jiri Lehecka. The 21-year-old defeated Marin Cilic and Luca Nardi along the way but let the match slip against the rising Czech star Lehecka. His next challenge will be at Indian Wells, where he will be the second seed and will defend his 2024 title.
