In our Daily Dose of Social Media, we recap the latest updates from ATP and WTA stars on social media. The couple Jannik Sinner and Anna Kalinskaya were spotted enjoying some free days in Italy, while Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina are taking advantage of the summer days.
On the other hand, a fun interview with Jasmine Paolini was revealed in the 'Confessional Cart,' where she talked about her colleagues with whom she enjoys going out the most. An ATP video featured Andrey Rublev and Daniil Medvedev discussing their long friendship in a fun and emotional conversation.
World No. 1 Jannik Sinner confirmed his relationship with World No. 17 Anna Kalinskaya during the recent French Open. When asked about it in a press conference, Sinner was brief and avoided giving more details about his private life: “Yes, I'm with Anna, but we keep everything very confidential. I won't say more."
Recently, they had mixed fortunes at Wimbledon. The Italian seemed on his way to a semifinal rematch with Carlos Alcaraz, showing great form at SW19. However, he couldn't get past Daniil Medvedev in the quarterfinals and fell in 5 sets. On the other hand, the 25-year-old Russian was on a good streak after three consecutive wins without dropping a set, but had to retire in the Round of 16 while trailing 3-6, 0-3 against the 2022 Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina.
The gossip magazine Chi Magazine published some photos of the couple's vacation after Wimbledon. According to the publication, they are enjoying some days in the Italian province of Sardegna, with some photos showing them taking advantage of the Italian summer's pleasures.

Another player taking advantage of her free days to relax is World No. 1 Iga Swiatek. The Polish player had a disappointing exit in the third round against Yulia Putintseva and once again fell short of expectations at Wimbledon.
The 5-time Grand Slam champion's next challenge is the Olympic Games Paris 2024, which will be held on the courts of Roland Garros, where she has won 4 titles in the last five years. Swiatek continues to work to arrive in the best shape, though she is also taking time to relax in Poland.
Swiatek shared several photos from her recent days in Poland, where she combines training routines with some downtime in her home country: “Summertime in Poland be like...” she captioned on Instagram.
Perhaps the greatest rise seen in the WTA this season is from 28-year-old Italian Jasmine Paolini. The Italian broke into the top 50 for the first time in her career a little over a year ago and has now entered the top 5, with two Grand Slam finals in the recent French Open and Wimbledon, in addition to the WTA 1000 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships title in February this year.
Tennis Channel recently posted their latest “Confessional Cart” video on social media with Paolini as the interviewee. While being transported in a golf cart, she answered some fun questions: “Player on Tour you’d like to hang out with and why?” one of the questions asked.
“No one, I don’t want to,” she said laughing. “Italians… I like to go out with them, especially Martina (Trevisan), Sara (Errani), Lucia (Bronzetti). But also the guys are funny,” the world No. 5 said. “Who is the funniest?” they asked, to which the 2-time Grand Slam runner-up replied laughingly, “Maybe Martina.”
Regarding a star she would like to have in her box to watch her in a match, the Italian star chose one of the greatest legends of tennis, though she acknowledged that it could backfire due to the pressure: “This is tough because, I can say Roger Federer, but then I’ll be so nervous… maybe nobody.”
Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev starred in the latest video from the ATP Tour on their official social media accounts. The Russians are known to be great friends, with ‘Rublo’ even being the godfather of the former world No. 1’s daughter. They shared details of their friendship over the years in a fun and emotional conversation.
Rublev began by talking about his first impression of Medvedev: “I think I was five or six years old and we were playing one local tournament in the club. And I see this guy (with) sleeveless t-shirt, only one racquet and I say, what is this, he in the quarter final with me? No chance I gonna lose to him.”
“I think you beat me, no?” Medvedev replied. “I remember I lost the second set, and I was crying full in the bathroom to my mum: ‘what is this, I cannot beat this guy, how is this possible?” Rublev added.
The world No. 4 was eliminated in the semifinals of Wimbledon by the eventual champion Barbora Krejcikova. Rybakina was the highest-ranked player to reach the quarterfinals and seemed to be the main favorite for the title, but she didn't take advantage of the set lead she had against the Czech, ultimately losing 6-3, 3-6, 4-6.
After her elimination at the All England Club, Rybakina enjoyed a few days touring London. She has now shared a photo enjoying the summer in Bodrum, Turkey. The Kazakh player is currently not competing, and her next challenge will be the Olympics starting on July 26. Here you can find the beach photo of Rybakina on a Turkish beach:

The recent Wimbledon champion revealed during the tournament that one of her favorite distractions is: “You said during rain delays, you build LEGO and sleep,” she was asked in a press conference. “I have many of them actually. Yeah, I even received some from my team yesterday. I like to do a lot of the architecture,” Barbora Krejcikova responded.
The new world No. 10 shared on social media the new gift she received from LEGO. The company heard Krejcikova's comments and sent her a LEGO replica of the Venus Rosewater Dish (the Ladies’ Singles Trophy), from which she shared some photos. The Czech player also received a LEGO minifigure and a LEGO racquet.
Look what Czech @LEGO_Group gave me! 🥰 THANK YOU! 🙏🏻
