"I broke my necklace" fumes Krejcikova after being issues a time violation

Barbora Krejcikova was not happy about getting a time violation for being late to return to the court from a bathroom break.

Thanks to the whole Tsitsipas bathroom break fiasco at the US Open, tennis introduced a new rule where players were limited to 5 minutes. If they fail to return to the courts within the limit they are issued a time violation. That is what happened to Barbora Krejcikova during her match with Ostapenko as she returned to the courts about 7 minutes after leaving.

She was explained what would happen but she wasn't happy with it. She argued that she broke her necklace during the break showing it to the umpire but he stuck to the rules and issued her the violation. She shook her head asking him 'what's next' with the umpire electing not to respond. The match continued and Krejcikova ultimately won.
