The Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati begins in a weeks' time with a week of action before the US Open begins with all tennis over that period being played this year at Flushing Meadows.

This is of course due to the Coronavirus pandemic which has cast doubt on the potential entry list for the ATP Masters 1000 and WTA Premier event. The Western & Southern Open will be still played and we'll tell you where to watch the tournament from Cincinnati live on stream.
Currently, Karolina Pliskova, the World No.3 will headline the WTA field ahead of Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin with the next player set to be Belinda Bencic in 8th; followed by Serena Williams (#9) and Aryna Sabalenka (#11).
Already missing include the likes of Ashleigh Barty, Elina Svitolina and Simona Halep - who is on the US Open entry list; but not for the Western & Southern Open. Even then though the World No.2's decision is delayed.
Bianca Andreescu is seemingly not set to return to the court before the US Open; with the 20-year-old Canadian who is defending her title at Flushing Meadows not having any court time of note since injury curtailed her WTA Finals run.
Naomi Osaka is in the field albeit with a wildcard. Defending champion Madison Keys will be involved though; with Daniil Medvedev also on the men's list; after a brilliant US Hard Court swing ahead of his run at the US Open.
He headlines a field which includes Novak Djokovic, Dominic Thiem, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev - with the ATP yet to suffer the exodus of players the WTA has.
