WTA DRAW 2024 Qatar Open featuring Iga SWIATEK, Coco GAUFF, Elena RYBAKINA and more tough luck for Naomi OSAKA

The draw has been confirmed ahead of the 2024 Qatar Open (Qatar TotalEnergies Open for sponsorship purposes) with the WTA 1000 set to take place between February 11-17, 2024 and is the second week of the Middle Eastern swing,

Iga Swiatek is top seed and defending champion and will face either Sorana Cirstea or Sloane Stephens in the second round. Coco Gauff faces Katerina Siniakova or Donna Vekic as second seed with Aryna Sabalenka deciding against playing over the next week.

Same can be said for last year's finalist Jessica Pegula due to injury with Elena Rybakina next along and she could face Varvara Gracheva or Zhu Lin. But there is also more rotten luck for Naomi Osaka as a wildcard who will face her Australian Open conqueror in Caroline Garcia.

Emma Raducanu will start against Anhelina Kalinina and could face Jelena Ostapenko who has already won two titles this season on tour. It will be the first chance to see many of the top stars after the Australian Open with some big ties picked out.
