Carlos Alcaraz won a few matches at the Indian Wells Masters and improved to 26 wins before the age of 20 at these events passing
Novak Djokovic in the process.
It's a great achievement and not many players have a better score than him. Besides passing Djokovic he also passed Shapovalov and Roddick on the list. He will probably add a few more in Miami and Monte-Carlo before turning 20 and leaving eligibility for this stat. One player is however uncatchable with
Rafael Nadal winning 53 matches before the age of 20 which is incredible.
Still win the two events coming up Alcaraz should be pretty safe in finishing second on the list of players with the most ATP 1000 wins before the age of 20. Nadal's impressive record mostly came thanks to the several clay Masters which he dominated from an early age. The King of Clay will probably forever remain as the greatest clay player of all time due to the sheer amount of records he holds on that surface.
Still, this second place by Alcaraz is very impressive as he left some impressive players behind himself, Djokovic most notably who had 23 wins before turning 20. Alcaraz is at 26 already and might hit 30.
