Andy Murray leads two sets to one in Tsitsipas clash as play suspended due to 11pm curfew at Wimbledon

Those with a Centre Court ticket on Friday will be treated to one of the best bargains in tennis at Wimbledon with Andy Murray set to conclude his thrilling clash with Stefanos Tsitsipas on Centre Court.

An 11pm curfew being enforced means that unlike other Grand Slam tournaments, they will not play to a finish and instead will have to return tomorrow with another late night likely.

Suspended at 6-7(3), 7-6(2), 6-4 in favor of the Brit, it was curtailed at 10:38 pm local time albeit Murray will likely be glad of it after a fall which saw him grimace in pain.

Tsitsipas' destructive forehand was on full display during the near three hours they were on court, but Murray grew as the contest continued giving the crowd exactly what they came for.

After losing the opening set, he showed great movement with superb aggression in the second and third sets. Albeit throughout this, there was always the threat of them coming off for the curfew.

Just beforehand, he like alluded to fell and clutched his groin while serving for the set giving everyone a moment of panic. But returned to his feet and sealed the set to go one set away.

Whether or not this hinders him tomorrow will be very much a matter for the morning and also whether or not Tsitsipas comes back to win it.

It will now slot in tomorrow not before 3pm and after Carlos Alcaraz plays, this means a full slate of World No.1's and former champions on Centre Court set to headline.

Those that held a ticket though for tonight will lament their luck that they didn't get to see the conclusion of a thrilling contest thus far.
